This series considers the inspiration that comes From Black: the night, our sleep, our dreams. Photographically it is a return to the beginning, approaching a familiar subject using long exposures at dusk.

One of the many things I love about this job is that I get to meet and photograph interesting creative people and the spaces they inhabit. So when Sainsbury's asked me to shoot Ros Byam Shaw at her beautiful home in Axminster I jumped at the chance. Ros is one of the foremost interior stylists in the country and a regular contributor to World of Interiors and has published many books on the subject.
